Lots of Japanese OpenType fonts do not render correctly

A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
  Synopsis:
Lots of Japanese OpenType fonts do not render correctly

  Description:
Java seems not to render many Japanese OpenType fonts correctly.
Although all OpenType fonts that consist of TrueType Outline render without problems, almost all
OpenTypes with PostScript Outline do not work well.

Specific symptoms
-Character pitches do not render correctly as their definition -Characters lap over each other
