Once the user installed the JDK/JRE, it shows up in "Add/Remove Programs" (or whatever name it has in the Windows version you're using) with publisher "Oracle". It seems that the more widespread convention is to use "Oracle Corporation".

It's not a new issue - it's the same in Java 6 and 7. See attached screenshot.
