A user reported:
 
      I have captured the Ethernet packets to the ASA FireWall and I noticed no single packet is sent to the device. This means it does not even start initiating the connection.
      I have installed the Java 7 version next to the 6 version. The shortcut to start ASDM contains the path to the 6 version so I can work with ASDM.
      I found an exception in the Java console while running the ASDM on the 7u5 Java version. It seems related to certificates, however I can't determine the cause from the log-lines [see the pasted log]
