Hello,
Currently, on the java.com we use DT to detect the user's JRE version and present them with the download bunlde in the case where they don't have the latest version.
We were asked to look into doing a build level detection where we should be able to detect the user's JRE buld version and present them with the download bundle in case if they don't have the latest/greatest build. This would help any users who needs to upgrade, for security reasons, even though they have the same version but with a different build number.
Since we are using DT to detect the version information, we would like to put in a request to see if we can use DT to also get the build level information.
Thanks,
Raji
