A user reported: "The latest version of Java is not working on Windows 8 Pro x64. It is installed, but when I try to use it on any website (keep in mind that IE10 asks me to allow Java, which I do of course) it never loads, it just gets stuck on loading, and the Java icon that usually appears in the bottom-right corner of the taskbar when you are using Java, does NOT appear on Windows 8."
