1. Install latest JDK8 nightly bits on Windows7/x86 (the issue applies to other OSs, too)
2. Access http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/deployment/applet/getStarted.html
3. If you see an "Expired JRE" warning dialog shows up, the issue is reproduced.
