I only can reproduce this crash on SuSE, SLES11 SP2 x86_64, of all my linuces.
It is reproducible rather often with jdk8 b72.
Perhaps it has something with peculiarity of CUPS configuration on this system but still, it's a crash.
I'm ready to provide access to this machine (it is on my desktop, please let me know a few hours in advance). I'll provide also a detailed instruction (means, a command line!) how to run the test.

Code to reproduce is in 2d/src/2D_PrintingMerlin/Interactive/MultiThreadingTest/*. It is marked as a manual test but runs in automated mode as well. For some reason, a standard java crash log is not generated, and a crash dump is just flushed on the screen. I've attached a console log to this report.
