When one select to enable Java content on the browser (via JCP), the security level slider is not enabled instantly. Users have to close the JCP and re-open it in order to set the security level.
Security slider should be enable instantly after switching on 'enable java content in the browser'
*** Tested Configurations:
- x64 Mac OS X 10.7.5
- x86 Vistda
- jre 8. jre 7ux
*** Steps to reproduce:
0) Install jre8 or jre 7ux
1) Invoke Java control panel--> Security tab
2) Uncheck the box 'Enable Java content in the browser...." to disable Java
3) Save, close and reopen java control panel
4) Go to Security tab and check the box 'Enable Java content in the browser...." to enable Java
If you see the security level slider is still disable, the issue is reproducible. It should have been enable at the end of step 4 without close and reopen java control panel again
