Recently performance on octane has taken a hit. This is very notable on th gbemu benchmark which has gone from over 5000 to about 3000 on my machine.

Some initial testing suggests the culprit might be 200:e599a1cad89a - -Dnashorn.unstable.relink.threshold=1 causes tests to fail.
