Java web start throws illegal instruction:4 error in Mac 10.7.x with jre 8 build 91 onwards

REGRESSION. Last worked in version 8

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Steps:
1. Install jre 8 build 91
2. traverse to javaws which is in path /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin
3. Double click javaws executable.

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
Javaws should not throw any error message
ACTUAL -
Illegal instruction:4
error message is displayed
