A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Update 25 says I need to remove update 9. followed instructions in automated system but it failed to remove u9. Tried manually. Add or remove programs does not list u9 as a program to uninstall.

REGRESSION. Last worked in version 7u25

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Your automated installer says u9 is on the system and it should be removed. follow program instructions to remove. Automated response is: Some or all of the older versions could not be uninstalled. The following old and unsupported versions remain on your computer. Click here for instructions on how to remove them manually. Java 7 Update 9. I followed instructions to go to Control Panel, Add or Remove programs. Waited for list to populate. Java 7 update 9 does not appear in the list. Only update 25 is in the list. Even if I check " show updates " u9 does not appear.


REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.

I have no idea if it is an impact or not.
