While working on JDK-7131356 it came to my attention that we do not provide Mac OS X style framework for our Mac Java developers.
While we do include headers and the libs, Mac developers are used to work with frameworks. Apple used to provide one when they still owned their JDK implementation, and it could be considered a regression, now that we (Oracle) own Mac JDK, but do not provide a framework to go with it.
