Checked on my Virtual box the latest uninstall applet version and it works as expected. May be the problem relatives to JDK-8033685, or the problems has been fixed with some other bug.

Java console doesn't start. It starts with other applets so I think it's a problem in this applet.

Could you please attach Java Console log? (turn it on in the java settings) If Java Console doesn't start at all, then the uninstall applet have no chances to appear because java didn't start.
