A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
I logged into the computer as the administrator and attempted to run the removal tool on http://java.com/en/download/uninstallapplet.jsp.

I hit the the button to run and it came back with an exclamation point in a stop sign and the wording " You must have administrator privileges to continue " and a second line " Log into an account with administrator privileges and return to this page.

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :

Log into a windows 64 system under an account that has administrator privelages.

go to http://java.com/en/download/uninstallapplet.jsp

Hit the " run " button in the Box " Do you want to run this Applet? Name: Java Uninstall Applet

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
I was unable to use the tool to detect and remove possible older version of JAVA
ACTUAL -
See the description of the problem, and you cannot use the tool to detect and remove older versions of JAVA.
