      Netbeans 7.4 on a Mac starts up almost x7 slower with JDK8 (40 seconds) compared to JDK7 (6 seconds)

      The time it takes to startup Netbeans 7.4 on a Mac using JDK8 vs JDK7, as measured from the launch till the main window shows app fully drawn has greatly regressed from 6 to 40 seconds.
