A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
The Java console window has a tree with radio buttons and checkboxes on Advanced tab page. The status of the radio buttons and checkboxes is not spoken by screen readers.
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Turn on JAWS screen reader.
Go to Start - All Programs - Java - Configure Java
Use shift+tab to get to the Advanced tab page.
Press down arrow and the "status" of the radio buttons and checkboxes is not spoken.
There is no way to tell which radio buttons and checkboxes are selected or not selected.
EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
JAWS should speak the state of the checkboxes and radio buttons.
ACTUAL -
Status is not spoken by JAWS.
REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.
