A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
When using socks proxy version 5 with Java, the dns names are solved locally instead of being solved on the remote server. In Firefox this can option can be turned on by setting the network.proxy.socks_remote_dns to True.
JUSTIFICATION :
A lot of sites will not work correctly when DNS is not solved remotely. Here is an example of a user needing it for his project http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1432038/java-runtime-6-with-socks-v5-proxy-possible
