When using JPRT to build hotspot (from hsx24 sources for instance) the release file is missing.
Note that the release file is present when building 7u40 through JPRT.
In our case, hsx24 build used jdk7u40b33, and b33 has the release file inside.

Having the release file is a pre-requisite for testing early access features, at SQE.
