Chapter 5 defines the conversions allowed in various contexts, but only informally suggests where these contexts occur. It is difficult to identify all the back-references in the text, and some of them may be surprising (e.g., a return statement provides an assignment context). It would be useful for Chapter 5 to definitively itemize where each kind of context occurs.
