Applications Table is read as empty in VoiceOver, on Win JAWS is able to read the table contents
and many controls do not have proper description.
Steps to Reproduce:
Start VoiceOver on Mac (Cmd + F5)
From Mac System Preference Window, launch the Java Control Panel
Goto the first tab (General), click on the view button from the Temporary Internet Files Section
This should bring up the Java Cache Viewer Dialog. ( If you have installed JRE and verified your installation you should see atleast the Java Detection entry on the table)
Try to browse through this windows, while listening to VoiceOver.
Table is read as empty table eventhough there are entries in it. And most of the buttons are not read properly.
There are other ways to launch this app, but for testing I used the above steps.
Using JAWS on windows table is read properly. Please see the attached screen shot.
