Running the http_simple.js benchmark with avatar.js while profiling with visualvm, it was found that RecompilableScriptFunctionData.ensureCodeGenerated() is taking up significant time. See attached snapshot. This profile was taken after 60,000 http requests had already been made, so there should not be anything new to compile.
