Java applet hang after screen popup

         

When using Internet Explorer (any version from 6 through 9) to access their
internal portal, if the browser's keystore has more than one certificate in
it then the user is prompted to choose the correct certificate for the
application.??

Presentation of the dialogue box prompting this choice freezes?the JVM.??

The browser otherwise works fine with other pages, so long as they
are not Java applets, be able to load.

This happens only with the next-gen plugin on Java 6 update 24 through 30.

Java 6 update 23 and earlier works fine.??

The classic plugin works fine with??any version of Java 6.
