Issue Clarification

When trying to access a webpage (containing an applet) with basic authentication on, there are 2 authentication prompts.

Expected Results : 1 authentication prompt by the browser.

Actual Results?? : prompt by both browser and plugin.

Replication cases:
pass - Java 6u43 and 7u21 on specific browsers. Tested:
? - Internet Explorer (IE10 on Windows 8 and IE9 on Windows 7).
? - FireFox (Windows 7 and 8, Ubuntu Linux, OS X 10.8).

fail - Java 6u43 and 7u21 on WebKit-based browsers. Tested:
- Chrome
- Windows 7 and 8
- Ubuntu Linux 12
- Safari on OS X 10.8
