The sun.misc.FpUtils class was introduced long ago to host certain math utilities need by the core libraries and for testing core libraries. Since then, nearly all the functionality provided of FpUtils has been provided in the standard libraries and nearly all methods remaining in FpUtils are deprecated. Therefore, it is time to remove this class from the JDK.
