A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
With all current JDK8 releases and snapshots, the automatic update does not work, it always shows
        "Unable to check for Java updates"
when run on Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) beta versions.

JUSTIFICATION :
It is necessary to be able to update DK8 also on machines running Mac OS X betas

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
Update should run smoothly; http://java.sun.com/products/autodl/j2se should detect the beta version and reply properly
ACTUAL -
Update does not run at all; http://java.sun.com/products/autodl/j2se delivers
        "20 Unsupported operating system"
