There are a number of tests in the hotspot part of the forest which can currently only be invoked through the hotspot/test/Makefile. These include clienttest, servertest, internalvmtests and wbapitest. Being able to invoke these tests through the top level test/Makefile, much like the langtools_%, jdk_% etc. tests is a prerequisite to running the Hotspot specific tests even when building the full forest.
