Unable to install OS X 10.10 Yosemite. OS X 10.7.3 or later requirement error.

      Current in market version install fails. 7u60. Did not test previous or future versions.

      ADDITIONAL OS VERSION INFORMATION :

      A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
      Steps:
      Attempt install of 7u60 on OS X 10.10

      Result:
      Installer fails with the following error:

       "Java from Oracle requires Mac OS X 10.7.3 or later.

      Your system has Mac OS X Version 10.10. This product can be installed on Version 10.7.3 or later. Visit java.com/help for more information."

      Workaround:
      Able to edit System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist to reflect an earlier version and bypass error message.


      STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
      Attempt install of 7u60 on OS X 10.10

      EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
      EXPECTED -
      Install Java 7u60 without altering system files.
      ACTUAL -
      Installer fails with the following error:

      ERROR MESSAGES/STACK TRACES THAT OCCUR :
       "Java from Oracle requires Mac OS X 10.7.3 or later.

      Your system has Mac OS X Version 10.10. This product can be installed on Version 10.7.3 or later. Visit java.com/help for more information."

      REPRODUCIBILITY :
      This bug can be reproduced always.

      CUSTOMER SUBMITTED WORKAROUND :
      Able to edit System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist to reflect an earlier version and bypass error message.
