Source changes needed to build JDK 9 with new platforms and compilers on Solaris and Linux

      A few source files need to be modified to make the change from the old build platforms and compilers to new.

      Old:

      Solaris: 10u10 and Oracle Solaris Studio 12.1
      Linux: Redhat 9 and gcc 4.3.0

      New:

      Solaris: 11.1 and Oracle Solaris Studio 12.3
      Linux: Oracle Linux 6.4 and gcc 4.8.2
