Most of the existing DCMD tests are internal (non-open) tests written a couple of years ago. Together with those, there is also a framework for these tests that unify the interface for calling DCMDs regardless of which transport is used (e.g. jcmd or JMX). Both of these should be ported to jtreg and made open.
