A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
 I keep getting this error message "unresponsive java platform SE 7 U65" while accessing applet from chrome browser.how do I fix it?

I followed following step but no luck to solve the problem.
1. Try restarting your web browser. While this step rarely works for issues like these, it can't hurt.
2. Try restarting your computer. Restarting the computer is known to resolve a lot of problems.
3. Check your computer for malware, spyware, and viruses. These things are generally a very common contributor to such constant issues in Windows.
4. Uninstall all Java from your computer, using add/remove (XP) or Programs and features (Vista, and later), restart your computer, then go to http://www.java.com to download, and install Java again.
