A signed applet fails to load in Firefox (version 38.0.1), while loading without issues in Internet Explorer 9 & 11 on the same machine, using the same JRE plugin installation.

The applet loads without issues in *both* Internet Explorer 9 & 11 and Firefox 38.0.1 when using JRE 8u45 (specifically, Java Plug-in 11.45.2.15 /
JRE version 1.8.0_45-b15 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM).

Steps to Reproduce (be specific):

1) Open Firefox
2) Go to https://www.medarbejdersignatur.dk/produkter/nemid_medarbejdersignatur/#log_paa_selvbetjening
3) Wait for applet to load
4) Click "Activate Java"
5) Click "Allow and Remember"
4) An error is displayed in Firefox (but not Internet Explorer): "Application
blocked by Java Security"
   with reason: "Your security settings have blocked a self-signed
application from running".

J2SE Version (please include all output from java -version flag):

Does this problem occur on J2SE 7u79, 8u45? Yes / No (be specific version#) - No.
