Root cause could be a recent change in FX runtime.

When the FXML document is opened the Hierarchy panel doesn't reset the selection and fact is the FX runtime buys us a default selection. As a consequence the interface is not consistent: the user sees a selection in Hierarchy while none is visible on Content and in the inspector one reads "No selection".
