Currently mnemonics behaviour is dictated by the host OS.
On Windows we enable mnemonics, and the trigger has a latch behaviour.
On Linux mnemonics are enabled too, but only trigger when the alt key is held.
Mnemonics are disabled on Mac.

It's be useful for testing if each mode could be enabled on a
single platform.
