I am trying to track down Ensemble's high memory usage. One of the key areas that comes up is MultipleArrayGradient its using 10-20Mb of ram. Seems to grow to 22Mb and then get GCed back to 10Mb. This is in Ensemble with the DropShadow sample open, just static window. Not sure why we are constantly repainting it either. Seems like this is high usage for gradients, maybe its just loads of short lived objects, but looks like they have lived 9-10 GC generations.
