My eyes literally burn up after 10 seconds of using any font anti-aliasing... whether it's mac osx, windows, or linux, the first thing I have to do is disable all that stuff. Java has a way to turn it off globablly for the application by launching it with "-Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=off -Dswing.aatext=false" or something to that effect. Please consider adding this ability to javafx as well, I cannot use this until such a feature is present.
