Can we have data type based input Text control like Text control only accepting integer, double or some specified set of values?
Currently we have Text input control which can accept any random text. Creating event handler to validate the values does not seem to work properly as events can generated very quickly by fast typing. Can you suggest some best practices if this is the only way of doing this?

Am I missing something?
