Reveal of Custom Library Folder is confusing when this directory doesn't exist

The Reveal item is library menu > Custom Library Folder is always live whether the Library directory exist or not.
In the case it doesn't exist the Explorer on Windows opens the user's home directory, which is confusing. On Mac and Linux I anticipate something as confusing.
