I though that this bug must be already reported somewhere, but I couldn't find anything in the JIRA.

In a TextField that contains too much text to fit, scroll to the right. When scrolling back, the caret should first go to the left border and then the scrolling should start. Instead, the scrolling back is triggered immediately, leaving the caret at the right border all the time. This makes it hard to do any reasonable selection either by SHIFT+arrow or mouse.
