Java 8 does not install correctly on Windows XP

    • Windows XP and XP64

      Since B97, Java 8 has not installed correctly on XP and XP64.
      I understand that XP is no longer supported but there are still a large number of XP users.
      The install does not give any errors but it does not install the JRE and therefore java will
      not work.
      I have got round the problem by installing on Windows 7 and the copying the files
      onto the XP system.
