I got recently an exception at SB start time , that prevented the tool to start.
This was related to a java Preferences issue.
Although the issue is known and should not happen again, we should protect our code against any failure in the Preferences handling:
- any issue in Preferences reading at start time should start the tool with the default preferences
- any issue in Preferences writing at exit time should not prevent the tool to stop (and eventually the Save dialog should work properly)
