Drop a Box a root element: you get spinning wheel for a while. SceneBuilder remains usable but all actions are likely to take a lot of time.
I didn't notice any output nor jump in memory use.
For some reason as soon as you save the document (1) the Box is resized on the Content panel (2) it is no longer slow.
I saw that on Mac and didn't try other platforms.
