- Provide full support for a single hardware configuration: The Freescale i.MX6 Sabre Device Platform with the i.MX6Quad Applications Processor
- The OS configuration supported will be determined in collaboration with Freescale. Based on what we are currently hearing from Freescale this will be a variant of Yocto hard float.
- The supported JavaFX configuration will be: hardware accelerated rendering using EGL and OpenGL ES 2, with 32-bit colour depth.
- The supported touch screen will be the screen integrated into the Freescale i.MX6 Sabre Device Platform. Automated regression testing will maintain support at a "known to work" level for touch screens that we have used in the past.
- JavaFX will operate in hardware-accelerated full-screen mode. Windowing APIs and a system clipboard will be provided within the context of JavaFX, but there is no expectation that JavaFX will share the screen or collaborate in any way with other graphical applications.
- A hardware cursor for mouse control will be supported
- The following JavaFX components will be provided: Base, Graphics, Controls and FXML.
- The release is not internationalized. Keyboard and virtual keyboard support is for US English only.
