Our government customers are heavily invested in Solaris and they are not likely to move from it anytime soon. The dominant move in architecture appears to be to SunRays tied into a SPARC server. As you know this is not JavaFX friendly. Most recently I am familiar with the Navy and Air Force, but previous experience makes me aware that the DoD and the VA also use Solaris heavily. Given the economic weight of these contenders perhaps an investigation into how much work it would take to go forward another step after the Linux release would be justified.
