The AnimationTimer works at konstant rate (about 16 ms) (independent of a timeline - in JavaFX 1.x action was part of a Timeline).

You can change the speed of an animation by changing its rate." But in the actual build 34 there is no possibility to change the rate (neither a second contructor nor a set-method) .

Please insert a rate changer to AnimationTimer (for my physical simulations, AnimationTimer gives me full control and freedom).
