The Java FX 2 focus was changed to business / enterprise area. In enterprise sector it is crucial to support Maven 3 as good as possible with Java FX 2 GA. The minimal requirement is the existence of jfxrt.jar in the publish Maven repos. In optimal case Java FX 2 should be released with Maven plugins and archetypes.
