Since JDK has no plan for 32-bit support in VM in Oracle JDK7. We should consider shipping universal binaries only.

      Information:
There was a long-long thread on the macosx-port-dev alias about 32-bit support in VM in Oracle JDK7. In a few words the answer is: no, it's not supported.

      Thanks,

      Artem

Are we supporting both 32 and 64 bit VMs on Mac post 2.1? If we're not supporting 32 bit, then a considerable reduction can be made by not shipping universal binaries (a slightly less than 50% reduction).
