I am creating a JavaFX website. Which, for some computers, work, though friends who've tried running my application encountered Java and JavaFX installation problems... Meaning, when, apparently, the configuration is not what is necessary, the user is redirected to java.com. The problem here is that the user has no idea what the problem is, and what needs to be downloaded.
A couple of months ago, one of your colleagues told me JavaFX will be included in Java1.7.0_03/4 and up, but it seems not to be the case.
JavaFX should be installable for each non-computer minded user. I cannot install the java/javafx combination for each user, and I can't imagine I (and the people that surround me) are the only ones.
It used to be, until JavaFX should have been included in Java, possible to download JavaFX, this possibility seems to have vanished.
(apart from the suggestion above) Also, I've tested it in several browsers: IEx64 & x86 works, Chrome and Firefox work... Safari (on both MAC and Windows), opera doesn't. These were all the browsers I've tested.
Cheers,
Daniël
