This is a request to implement the ability to specify an initial file name for Glass file dialogs. ~~RT-16111~~ needs this Glass API in order to provide the same functionality for FX applications.

The Glass' CommonDialogs.showFileChooser() will also get a "String filename" argument to specify the initial file name for the SAVE dialog.
