WebView to support HTML-5 localStorage ?

      We are currently running with Java 7u11 / WebView 2.2.4 and have the desire to use the HTML-5 localStorage feature. We note that this is not currently supported under JavaFX WebView but is under other webkit browsers like Chrome and Safari. Are there any plans to support this and if so when ?
