Doing an install of the SDK on Mac OS X 10.4.x PPC ... and the installer gives a dialog saying: "Optional software.. Java SE 6 is preferred for JavaFX 1.0 SDK but not installed. Java SE 6 can be downloaded and installed from ...yadda yadda"
Because Java6 is not available for many instances of OS X this message is unhelpful and will lead to user frustration if they follow the letter of the instructions. They can go to http://developer.apple.com/java/download/ and not find a bundle for their machine. There's already a lot of irritation out there about this, and it may rub salt into someones wounds.
